김계리(Kyelee Kim)는 서울을 기반으로 활동하는 독립 디자이너이자 조형 작가입니다.
가구, 설치물, 오브제를 통해 물성, 공간, 감정이 교차하는 지점을 탐구해왔으며 2016년부터 개인 스튜디오를 운영하며 유럽과 서울을 중심으로 공모전, 페어, 전시 활동을 이어오고 있습니다.
그의 작업은 타인과 사회적 관계 속에서 형성되는 공감과 연대의 감각에서 출발합니다. 형태와 균형, 움직임을 매개로 관계의 긴장과 조화를 시각화하 개인과 개인, 나아가 사회 안에서 생성되는 감정의 흐름을 공간 안에 풀어냅니다. 이를 통해 예술이 자연과 사회 속에서 어떤 역할을 할 수 있는지에 대해 지속적으로 질문합니다.
Kyelee Kim is an independent designer and sculptural artist based in Seoul.
Through furniture, installations, and objects, she explores the points where materiality, space, and emotion intersect.
Since 2016, she has operated her own studio and has participated in competitions, fairs, and exhibitions in Europe and Seoul.
Her work begins with a sensitivity to empathy and solidarity formed within interpersonal and social relationships.
Using form, balance, and movement as primary elements, she visualizes the tensions and harmonies that emerge between relationships,
translating emotional currents generated between individuals and within society into spatial experiences.
Through this practice, she continually questions the role art can play within nature and society.
